On the Rocks Bar
Inside this dark and dingey bar you'll find a charming and truly Miami atmosphere. A quirky collection of lights and decorations hangs behind the bar, and the whole space is completed with wall art and statement pieces. It's designed to be homely, serving traditional beers as well as your favourite cocktails and classic American bar food. Drinks are affordable, there's always a game on the TV, and karaoke and bar games are not to be missed.
Palace
Palace is the first and only LGBTQ+ bar and restaurant on Ocean Drive, in the heart of South Beach's Art Deco district. It's just across from "the gay beach" so, as night falls, the party moves inside to the dance floors of Palace. A host of talented drag queens keep the party going 7 nights a week, so kick back, relax, and enjoy a super camp show.
Azucar NightClub
The hub for LGBTQ+ Latin nightlife is Azucar, a place full of energy and great music. The nightclub describes itself as the hottest place to party, a favourite hangout spot for the local Latin community as well as travellers looking to experience a different side of the gay scene. There's an event hosted here most nights, including favourites like karaoke, cabaret, and drag wars. Hot dancers and music from DJs keep the party going.
Basement Miami
Basement is a cutting-edge venue and a hub for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies alike. As well as the usual drag queens, DJs, and lively dance floor, right next door to the club is a four-lane bowling alley complete with huge LED screen displays plus a state-of-the-art sound and light system. Basement also boasts a full-size ice rink where you can skate along to amazing light shows, a totally reimagined and uniquely modern clubbing experience.
Gramps
Gramps is a bar and pizza restaurant that embodies the spirit of Miami. Apart from the delicious food (especially legendary New York style pizza), Gramps is popular with LGBTQ+ travellers thanks to its great range of cocktails and fully stocked liquor store. Weekly karaoke nights give you the opportunity to just let your hair down and experience a true Miami night out, or sit back and watch on the patio.
