Club Backdoor

The Secret Garden is the latest addition to Stockholm's open-minded pub world. Very gay friendly and popular with the LGBT crowd, the Secret Garden can be found in the Old Town area of Stockholm. Great cocktails and wine list as well as tasty food and even an outside terrace. Check to see if there are any events happening.

SLM (Scandinavian Leather Men) is a members only club for fans of the gay fetish scene. Leather, rubber, bondage, uniform, sports gear each have their place at SLM. There is a very strict dresscode and you will need to get membership in advance if you are planning a visit to Stockholm.

Side Track is the oldest gay bar in Stockholm. Located on Södermalm, Side Track also has a small restaurant with a good value menu. Known for its friendly bar staff and relaxed vibe, it's definitely worth a visit when in Stockholm.

Backdoor is a new, large nightclub in South Stockholm. You can find visiting international DJ's, and theme nights, such as Techno and Pop. Check for special events. A mixed crowd here, but generally popular with the younger LGBTQ+ community.

Cosy and friendly cafe located on a square in Stockholm's Old Town, Gamla Stan. Very popular with the gay community and a must visit for LGBT tourists as the welcoming staff will be happy to help. Slightly longer opening hours in the summer months.

The MS Patricia hosts a renowned gay and lesbian party every Sunday from 2300 and is sure to be a fun, sparkly, Swedish night to remember. This former private yacht now has 6 bars, a restaurant and nightclub, with some fabulous views across the water from her decks.
