The Alley Bar

Bear, Fetish, Cruising

This veteran gay bear leather cruise bar is hidden away in downtown, providing cheap drinks, dancing, and an unpretentious atmosphere. Recurring parties like Fuzz and Casual Fridays draw a very manly and cruisy crowd, and popular local DJs play an eclectic soundtrack from Top 40 to artsy indie pop. Craft beer, lively music, karaoke, pool, and most importantly lots of men make The Alley Bar a hidden gem.

Fenway Victory Gardens

Older Crowd, Cruising

The park as a whole can be quite cruisy, with some sheltered areas to get some privacy. Mainly older guys, but younger, straight and curious men come along as well. Cruising is busier in the evening hours, but be careful of groups of people as there have been bashings in the park. A busier area of the park is in the north, along the muddy river, where the park narrows out towards the Charles River, also known as Charlesgate Park.

Head to the pool locker room where you will find a wide selection of guys from students and teachers to University staff and visitors. It's a cruisy place where you can find people engaging if you make eye contact. Guys mostly meet up here and then go to the parking garage next door or elsewhere. The locker room is accessible both from the Pool and from the main part of the Clark Athletic Center. A door just outside leads right to the parking garage.
