Dallas Gay Cruising

Its a large nature preserve and hike and bike trail. The trails are well well worn and wind throughout over 5 acres of thick woods which has many off the path areas for seclusion from vehicles and residences. Action anytime day or night, but more likely at night once the bikers and hikers have left. Head west on W Illinois Avenue off S Hampton Road, then turn left on Pierce St. Just before a sharp right turn on Pierce, you will see a sign and a road that leads to an apartment complex turn left on it. You will see the park on the right. There are two parking areas and it's the second one you should head to.

Club Dallas is an upscale men only sauna with immaculate facilities including an outdoor pool, whirlpool, and a fully equipped circuit gym. Relax in the sun on the terrace or head inside to spend time in the sauna, steam room, and lounge with crowds of men looking for some fun. Private dressing rooms are available to rent, and all have TVs that stream appropriate movies. You can buy a daily pass for only $10 and take advantage of all the action.

The woods are part of the Katy walking trail. The hill by the woods is a dismantled railroad with the tracks removed. The wooded area at the base of the hill near the creek is one of the hot spots in Dallas, especially in the summer when all the brush is overgrown. It's a varied crowd, usually people from the bars walk down there for some action. Best time to go is usually after dark, but there is more going on after midnight, thought the park is closed at 2300. Be aware that Police sometimes work undercover.

Take the Hampton Road exit from I-30 and head to the corner of Colorado Blvd. and Plymouth Road. The park's parking lot is cruisy and there are trails which follow the creek in both directions and it's along these most of the activity occurs. Attracts both straights and gays with most action after dark.

It is one of the few places to cruise in Dallas. The crowd is very varied in age and background. Interested parties can wait in the parking lot with their windows down, so see if you catch anyone's eye, exercising caution as always. : Young and old. Professional and red neck, blue collar. The cruisiest spots are apparently around 1200 noon at the baseball park, then after 5pm at the north east end of park, in and around the parking lots. The park is patrolled, it is not a good idea to go into the woods, except after dark.
