For more than 100 years, Le Consulat was the home of the Brazilian Consulate. Now it is a 20-room hotel with an elegant and characterful accommodation proposal that you can savor from the first minute. We offer a fine selection of original Portuguese art in each of the rooms and apartments, so that our clients feel inspired at all times.

Furthermore, it is located in one of the most emblematic squares in Lisbon, Plaza Luis de Camoes -in the Chiado neighborhood-, just in front of the city's historic tram stop. An excellent location to let yourself go and walk around its stately streets, go shopping, or walk to the promenade, just 10 minutes from the hotel.

Each of the Le Consulat's rooms and suites was decorated in collaboration with the most important art galleries of Lisbon. All units are equipped with air conditioning, soundproofing and the Consulaire/Ambassadeur suites offer a fully equipped kitchenette and a dining area.

A breakfast buffet is available every morning and guests may relax at the Le Consulat's on-site bar. The surrounding area offers a variety of restaurants serving Portuguese and international cuisine, and the trendy nightlife neighbourhood of Bairro Alto is just a few metres away.

Le Consulat features an exhibit area on the 2nd floor where new Portuguese artists show their latest work and there is a tea area on the 1st floor where guests may socialize.

The Baixa-Chiado Metro Station is a 1-minute walk and the Cais do Sodre Train Station, connecting guests to Estoril and Cascais, is 600 m away. Lisbon International Airport is 9 km away, easily accessible via public transportation.
