Josef and Wolfgang have been running the Casino-Eck, the somewhat different Veedelskneipe, since 2008.
Everyone is welcome here, no matter whether old or young, man or woman, straight, lesbian, gay or transgender - tolerance is simply lived here.
It is cozy and atmospheric here, friendly people meet over delicious beer and motto evenings appropriate to the season, such as May festival, Holland evening, Oktoberfest or travesty show.

We offer European coffee specialties based on the Viennese coffee manufacturer Julius Meinl. We get our fresh milk from the Hielscher Hof in the Bergisches Land. We also offer lactose-free milk.

We get the right tea water from a spring in the Eifel - soft, clear, not chalky & tasteless.

The cozy bar between Cologne's Rudolfplatz and Neumarkt invites you to linger, talk and celebrate. Not far from the gay scene on Schaafenstraße, it is open to everyone, regardless of whether they are straight, gay, lesbian, women or men.
