One of the newest additions to Copenhagen’s LGBTQ+ scene, Centre Stage CPH has quickly become a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Located in the heart of the city’s historic gay district, the venue offers a friendly atmosphere, regular drag performances, themed parties and live entertainment. The crowd is mixed, welcoming and social, making it a great place to start or end a night out. Expect good music, strong drinks and a lively but approachable vibe throughout the week.

Copenhagen's oldest gay bar, popular with a mixed crowd. Often hosting shows or entertainment, check with the bar. If you're visiting around Easter or Christmas, it's worth a visit to see their impressive decorations. Can get very crowded at the weekends, not a great choice if you're a non-smoker.

Prison-themed basement bar with a friendly vibe and uniformed bar tenders. The bar has a recurring prison theme with prison bars, handcuffs and cells as part of the interior. Can get busy on weekend nights, and check if there are any events. Now non-smoking.

Vela is a cosy lesbian bar in Vesterbro with great cocktails and fussball. Vela also hosts several cultural events such as poetry and literature evenings, live music, speed-dating and much more. Vela is open late into the morning.

Old school speakeasy type bar, with live music on some days. Cafe Intime is very cosy and friendly, with a broad age range of customers. the Sunday Jazz night is particularly popular, so get a seat early. Can be quite smoky at times.

A men only bar, one of Copenhagen's oldest gay bars. Tends to be an older and sometimes fetish crowd, but generally welcoming and friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced here, especially the local beers. Now Non Smoking!
