#VYBE Denver

#VYBE Denver

1027 N Broadway, Denver, CO 80203

Big on personality and refreshingly inclusive, #VYBE is a lively LGBTQ+ bar on Broadway that brings together a wonderfully mixed crowd for drinks, music and entertainment. Family-owned and operated, this spacious venue feels more like a friendly neighbourhood gathering place than an exclusive nightclub, with a welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages and identities.

The entertainment programme is particularly varied, with regular karaoke, drag performances, themed parties, live music and the occasional silent disco. There's an outdoor patio with a performance stage, plenty of comfortable space to socialise and a kitchen serving food late into the night. The bar also has a reputation for its creative infused shots and colourful cocktails. Whether you're joining friends for karaoke or simply looking for a fun, informal place to spend the evening, #VYBE is an excellent alternative to the traditional Colfax gay bars.

Popular Bars in Denver

Town Hall Collaborative

Town Hall Collaborative

More than just another bar, Town Hall Collaborative is a wonderfully welcoming gathering place that celebrates Denver's creative and LGBTQ+ communities. Located in the Santa Fe Arts District, this spacious, independently minded venue brings together a café, cocktail bar, community space and changing programme of cultural events under one roof. During the day, it's a relaxed spot for coffee, casual meetings or catching up with friends, while evenings bring everything from live music and poetry to social gatherings, workshops and community celebrations. The atmosphere is inclusive and refreshingly informal, with comfortable seating, a dog-friendly patio and plenty of opportunities to meet interesting people. It's particularly appealing if you want to discover Denver's wider queer culture beyond conventional gay nightlife, or simply enjoy a welcoming space where conversation and creativity take centre stage.
Li'l Devils Lounge

Li'l Devils Lounge

For a more relaxed gay night out, Li'l Devils Lounge is one of Denver's most appealing neighbourhood bars. Located on South Broadway in the Baker district, this friendly LGBTQ+ favourite offers a comfortable alternative to the louder clubs on Colfax, with a welcoming crowd, excellent cocktails and an atmosphere that makes conversation easy. The drinks are a big part of the attraction, particularly the creative frozen cocktails and seasonal specials. But it's the spacious back patio that really sets Li'l Devils apart, with comfortable seating and fire pits creating a lovely setting for an afternoon drink or a cosy evening with friends. The crowd is predominantly local, although visitors are warmly welcomed, and happy hour is a good opportunity to settle in without spending a fortune. It's an especially good choice for couples or anyone who enjoys a laid-back bar with a little personality.
Wild Tulips

Wild Tulips

There's something exciting blooming in Denver's LGBTQ+ scene. Wild Tulips is a new sapphic bar and lounge in Capitol Hill, created as a welcoming home for queer women, trans and non-binary people, while embracing the wider LGBTQ+ community. Its glamorous, 1970s-inspired interior combines rich colours, vintage furnishings, disco balls and playful details that make it feel wonderfully individual. There's plenty more to Wild Tulips than its good looks. The planned entertainment programme includes drag, dancing, karaoke, social gatherings, creative workshops and community events, making it as much a place to connect as somewhere to enjoy a night out. The relaxed lounge atmosphere is particularly appealing for meeting friends or making new ones. Opened in October 2026, Wild Tulips is helping bring dedicated sapphic nightlife back to Denver after the closure of The Pearl earlier in the year.
Lady Justice Brewing

Lady Justice Brewing

Great beer with an even better purpose is the philosophy behind Lady Justice Brewing, a queer-founded brewery in nearby Englewood that has become a welcoming gathering place for Denver's LGBTQ+ community and friends. Founded by women with a passion for social justice, the brewery supports organisations working to empower women and girls across Colorado. The atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive, with a friendly taproom, regularly changing craft beers and a calendar of community activities. It's a particularly enjoyable place for an afternoon drink, a casual catch-up or discovering locally brewed beers without the intensity of a nightclub. Food trucks visit regularly, and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the taproom. Lady Justice is a little outside the main gay nightlife districts, but well worth considering if you appreciate independent breweries, friendly locals and businesses that give something back to their communities.
Denver Eagle

Denver Eagle

Leather, bears, pups and plenty of attitude-free fun make Denver Eagle one of the city's most distinctive gay bars. Located on West Colfax, away from the main Capitol Hill nightlife strip, this established favourite caters particularly to men who enjoy leather and fetish culture, while welcoming the wider queer community. There's always something interesting happening, from underwear parties and gear nights to karaoke, DJs and lively social gatherings. The atmosphere can range from relaxed drinks and conversation to something decidedly more adventurous, depending on the evening. Pool and darts provide an alternative to the party action, while the friendly staff and approachable regulars make it easy to settle in. You don't need to arrive dressed in leather to enjoy yourself, although it's certainly encouraged on themed nights. Check the events calendar before visiting, as some parties have specific dress codes.
Champagne Tiger

Champagne Tiger

A little French glamour goes a long way in Denver, and Champagne Tiger delivers it with plenty of personality. Occupying the landmark former Tom's Diner building on East Colfax, this colourful, LGBTQ+-friendly restaurant and cocktail bar combines Parisian bistro influences with American comfort food and a wonderfully playful atmosphere. The menu offers everything from burgers and steak frites to oysters and indulgent brunch dishes, complemented by expertly made cocktails and plenty of champagne. Sunday drag brunch is the main event, featuring glamorous performances and a lively crowd that knows how to celebrate. On quieter evenings, the stylish dining room and spacious garden patio make it an equally appealing choice for a date or pre-nightlife dinner. It's conveniently located right next to X Bar, so you can move easily from cocktails and food to a bigger night out.
