Hummel Hummel bar was a pioneer of gay nightlife on Gran Canaria, being the second gay venue to open in the Yumbo Center. They have a loyal, generally more mature clientele that visit throughout the year and are known for thwie friendly and welcoming service. Hummel Hummel bar welcomes all ages and nationalities. Enjoy a drink with good music sitting on the terrace, or settle at the bar counter.

Bar Junior
Bar Junior is a GayMapper favourite in the Yumbo Centre, with a very friendly welcome from the two owners, plus delicious gin and tonics. On the ground floor of the Yumbo, in the area known as the Six Pack, opposite Parrots, Bar Junior is one of the smaller bars, but tends to stay busy throughout the evening, and has a perfect location to people watch from their terrace.
Mantrix Nightclub
One of the most popular gay discos in the south of Gran Canaria, Mantrix is often the last stop of the night, and can be found on the top floor of the Yumbo Centre, next to Mykonos Bar. Run by gays for gays, Mantrix is a place where you will feel safe, meet people and enjoy house music with their resident deejays. There is also a cruising area with a dark room and cabins.
Cruise Bar
Cruise Bar opened in 1994, becoming the first bear and leather venue in the Canary Islands. It is located on the second floor of the Yumbo Centre and features a large, popular outside terrace and a much more cruisy inside bar. There is an infinity of corridors, slings, a porn video room, labyrinths, ***s and two dark rooms where you can freely unleash your imagination and personal curiosity. An ideal place to meet and make friends, have drinks, listen to good music and flirt. Lockers are provided to store your valuables if yo head into the darkrooms.
Cafe Wien
Legendary on the Gran Canaria gay scene, Cafe Wien is best known as the pit-stop for weary beach goers heading home after a day on the sands. Located on the terrace on the top floor at the back of the Cita Centre and only open in the afternoons, you'll find a warm gay-friendly welcome, along with a chiller full of delicious German type cakes. Often very busy, but it's worth the wait for some of the best cakes in the resort.
