Recommended gay friendly hotels in Gran Canaria
You'll find an unparalleled choice of accommodation in Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas with the resorts being pretty much universally gay friendly. There are many gay only resorts to choose from as well, offering a range of accommodation options and standards. Playa del Ingles is the second largest tourist resort in the whole of Spain (after Benidorm) and is dominated by 1970's era hotels and multiple bungalow complexes, but many have been totally refurbished and brought up to date. Especially in Maspalomas, the accommodation tends to be bungalow style, which give you more space, but are a little further from the action in the Yumbo. The Meloneras area of Maspalomas is home to a number of modern 4 and 5 star hotels, if you want to treat yourself.
