Right on the beach in Maspalomas, Strandapotheke is the place to head on your way back to your hotel after a day on the gay beach. Busiest in the afternoon and early evening, playing schlager music, come by for a nice cool beer and to chat to friends you made in the sea.

Tom's Cruising Bar
Tom's Cruising Bar has been at the Yumbo formany years offering a bar only for men with a large outside terrace. In this Cruising bar with an international atmosphere, you will find people of all ages with which to enjoy various booths an exclusive area for smokers and more. Entrance is free. Located just up the ramp by Burger King.
Chez Funny Boys
Funny Boys is known for it's professional drag shows, with som fantastic celebrity impersonations - look out for their Tina Turner and Shirley Bassey! Shows here start a little later than the other drag show bars, around midnight, and they are usually big crowds. If you're looking for comedy drag shows, then try Sparkles or Ricky's instead. Funny Boys can be found on the first floor of the Yumbo Centre, next to Cruise Bar.
Mantrix Nightclub
One of the most popular gay discos in the south of Gran Canaria, Mantrix is often the last stop of the night, and can be found on the top floor of the Yumbo Centre, next to Mykonos Bar. Run by gays for gays, Mantrix is a place where you will feel safe, meet people and enjoy house music with their resident deejays. There is also a cruising area with a dark room and cabins.
Ricky's Cabaret Bar
Ricky's Cabaret Bar has been known for it's entertainment shows in the Yumbo centre since 2002. There are different shows every night of the week performed by a number of resident drag queens. There is no admission charge, just buy some drinks, sit back and enjoy the show. Ricky's moved location in 2020, but it's right next door to before, still by Burger King on the ground floor of the Yumbo Centre.
Bar Junior
Bar Junior is a GayMapper favourite in the Yumbo Centre, with a very friendly welcome from the two owners, plus delicious gin and tonics. On the ground floor of the Yumbo, in the area known as the Six Pack, opposite Parrots, Bar Junior is one of the smaller bars, but tends to stay busy throughout the evening, and has a perfect location to people watch from their terrace.
