Pick Up is a small gay bar in Hamburg's St. Georg district, not far from the main station, and close to many other gay bars. You'll find a broad mix of clientele here, and according to Pick Up bar themselves, their guests include "the working class and civil servants, artists and those for whom life is in art form, the unemployed and millionaires - a colorful mixture like life itself and the pride flag." Welcoming to women as well as men, the bar closes when the last guest calls it a night.

One of the oldest gay bars in Hamburg, here you'll find a mixed crowd that welcomes gays and lesbians alike. Generally a slightly older crowd than other bars, Toom Peerstall has a strong local following, so a good place to get a sense of Hamburg gay life.
