Disco Rick's
RICK'S is a popular pre-clubbing bar with a Moroccan vibe inspired by the film Casablanca. The walls are filled with quirky themed decoration, the elsewhere in the bar you'll find pool and foosball tables. A mixed aged crowd generally descends on the bar in the early hours for drinks and dancing with a soundtrack of chart-topping music.
THICK
This new bar on the scene in the Chueca gay neighbourhood seeks to be a unique alternative to the other older bars and clubs in the area. Labels don't exist here. Everyone is welcome to visit for a quality drink and a fresh new atmosphere that's brought to life by amazing music. THICK is busiest at weekends when it fills with a perfectly mixed and energetic crowd.
El 12 CLUB
El 12 Club is a relatively new bear club in Chueca. It hosts some brilliant live music covering a range of genres from house and pop to techno and funk. There is also a line-up of talented house DJs who bring the club to life every night. El 12 features two distinct spaces, El Bar and El Puticlub, where you start your night or dance till morning.
La Lulu
La Lulu is a camp cocktail and disco bar in Chueca, serving delicious drinks and an eye-full of attractive shirtless staff. There's offers on drinks every day, making this a favourite meeting place for gay guys of all ages. The bar gets really busy at weekends so you're sure to find you crowd and get an unforgettable taste of Madrid's nightlife
La Kama Bar
La Kama is a cocktail bar and cafe that's pretty new on the scene in Chueca but already making a name for itself. Attractive and often topless waiters are unsurprisingly a draw for gay visitors, but they also serve the best cocktails around which is always a bonus! The music is a diverse mix of genres and videos are always playing on screens around the bar. La Kama is open every day for casual drinks before a night of clubbing.
Step Madrid
Step Madrid (formerly known as The Paso) is an institution on the Chueca gay scene, having been catering to the bear community for years. It's busy all week but particularly at weekends, when a fun and friendly crowd flocks to the bar and music videos are playing on large screens. There's no attitude here so everyone can feel comfortable, including in the small dark room in the back of the bar.
