Zarpa

Zarpa

Zarpa, Calle de la Princesa, Madrid, Spain

Zarpa is mostly popular with bears and their admirers, especially slightly older guys looking to enjoy a few drinks before moving on to Chueca's clubs. The bar is busy every weekend thanks to reliably cheap pints and popular music across all genres. Music videos play around the bar, keeping the atmosphere alive and drawing in the crowds of masculine guys.

Popular bars in

Madrid

Step Madrid
Step Madrid (formerly known as The Paso) is an institution on the Chueco gay scene, having been catering to the bear community for years. It's busy all week but particularly at weekends, when a fun and friendly crowd flocks to the bar and music videos are playing on large screens. There's no attitude here so everyone can feel comfortable, including in the small dark room in the back of the bar.
ATTACK Fun SX Gay Club
Infamous on the gay scene, ATTACK is a popular cruise and fetish club that attracts both loyal locals and curious tourists. Across 4 areas you can find what you're into, whether that's chatting to guys at the bar or moving straight to the cruising zones. There's a dungeon, slings, showers, and loads more to keep you busy. ATTACK hosts regular themed nights that cater to a wide range of fetish crowds.
Rick's
RICK'S is a popular pre-clubbing bar with a Moroccan vibe inspired by the film Casablanca. The walls are filled with quirky themed decoration, the elsewhere in the bar you'll find pool and foosball tables. A mixed aged crowd generally descends on the bar in the early hours for drinks and dancing with a soundtrack of chart-topping music.
La Kama Bar
La Kama is a cocktail bar and cafe that's pretty new on the scene in Chueca but already making a name for itself. Attractive and often topless waiters are unsurprisingly a draw for gay visitors, but they also serve the best cocktails around which is always a bonus! The music is a diverse mix of genres and videos are always playing on screens around the bar. La Kama is open every day for casual drinks before a night of clubbing.
Bears Bar
As the name suggests, this is one of the most popular meeting places for Madrid's bear community and their admirers. Expect a variety of masculine guys and large crowds packed into a relatively small space. There's no better way to find what you're looking for in Chueca, and there's 2 for 1 drinks offers every night until midnight to get you started.
Boyberry Madrid
A favourite cruising spot in Madrid, Boyberry is the place to go for cheap drinks and a super friendly but hot atmosphere. It offers something different to classic dark cruising spaces, bringing a refreshingly modern twist to the scene. Boyberry offers the usual favourites such as peep holes, cabins, and darkroom but alongside these you can find an adult shop and full bar with friendly staff.
