Galeon has been a favourite with LGBTQ+ visitors to Sitges for years, and it’s easy to see why. You’re on a pedestrian street in the centre, a short walk from the main gay bars around Plaça Indústria and Carrer Joan Tarrida, while both the beach and railway station are also close. Hotel Galeon combines a traditional main building with the more contemporary Galeon Pavillon. Rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned, and the garden swimming pool gives you somewhere to unwind between beach and bar time. Superior accommodation in the annex adds a little more contemporary style, while breakfast has long been one of the hotel’s strong points. The location also makes arrival particularly painless if you’re travelling from Barcelona by train. Ibersol Antemare is aimed squarely at a more relaxed Sitges break. This adults-only hotel sits in the quieter residential area behind the promenade, around two minutes from the beach and roughly 12 minutes on foot from the town centre. The outdoor areas are a major part of the appeal, with swimming pools, sun terraces and greenery creating more of a resort atmosphere than you’ll find at most central hotels. Rooms are bright and contemporary, many with balconies or terraces. La Pérgola restaurant handles the main dining, joined by a gastrobar and poolside lounge terrace for something more casual. The gay bars around Plaça Indústria aren’t immediately outside, but they’re still comfortably reachable on foot. If you prefer having an apartment rather than a conventional hotel room, Mediterráneo Sitges gives you considerably more space without sacrificing location. Its 40 serviced apartments sit directly opposite the beach on Avenida Sofia, just a few minutes’ walk from central Sitges and the main gay nightlife around Plaça Indústria. Apartments range from one to three bedrooms and come with proper kitchens, marble bathrooms and private terraces, with many looking towards the Mediterranean. The biggest surprise is outside: around 4,000 square metres of private gardens contain three swimming pools and plenty of room to relax away from the busy promenade. You can walk almost everywhere from here, including Bassa Rodona gay beach, restaurants and the railway station. Tucked into the residential El Vinyet neighbourhood, Hotel Sitges works well if you like being close to the beach but appreciate somewhere calmer than the town centre. The promenade is only around three minutes away, while central Sitges and the main gay nightlife around Plaça Indústria are roughly a 12–15 minute walk. The restored villa has bright, contemporary rooms, many with a terrace, balcony or small private garden. A welcome recent addition is the outdoor swimming pool, alongside a terrace bar and buffet breakfast. There’s also bicycle rental, free Wi-Fi and Utopia restaurant. It’s a pleasant part of town to walk through, and the flat promenade makes the journey into the centre particularly easy. Historic Sitges architecture has been given a very polished makeover at CASA METT Sitges. Opened in 2026 following the transformation of the former Hotel Capri, this adults-only five-star retreat occupies five restored Noucentista villas surrounded by Mediterranean gardens, just 100 metres from the seafront. There are only 38 rooms and suites, keeping the atmosphere intimate despite the luxury positioning. Days can easily disappear around the garden pool, while there’s also a spa, fully equipped gym and Balera restaurant, which focuses on relaxed Italian-inspired food. The central location means Bassa Rodona, the promenade and the main gay nightlife around Plaça Indústria are all comfortably walkable. Beach days, nightlife and a proper spa are unusually easy to combine here. MiM Sitges member of Meliá Collection sits on Avenida Sofia, just off the promenade and only a few minutes from Bassa Rodona, Sitges’ main gay beach. The gay bars around Plaça Indústria are also comfortably walkable. The contemporary rooms and suites have a polished Mediterranean feel, with some offering sea views, but much of the appeal is elsewhere in the hotel. Upstairs you’ll find a seasonal rooftop pool and Sky Bar with views over Sitges and the Mediterranean, while the substantial MiM Spa includes a hydrotherapy circuit, sauna, steam room and treatment facilities. There’s also a 24-hour fitness area and several options for food and drinks.
