El Cangrejo Eixample

As the name suggests, Bacon Bear Bar attracts bears and their admires from all over the world. The bar is always packed with a truly mixed age crowd, and they're all keen to welcome visitors in. The variation of guys here makes this a favourite hangout spot for Barcelona's bear community, a lively place to go any night of the week.

This is a bar that welcomes the entire LGBTQ+ community, located in the historic center of the city, and has been serving a super mixed crowd for over 10 years. They offer good food, beer on tap to enjoy outside on the terrace, and a generally relaxed place to hang out with friends. Inclusive and slightly alternative vibes attract a wonderful range of people and give the bar a real community feel.

Gingin is a relatively new gay bar in Eixample, located just across the road from the famous gay Axel Hotel. The bar is already popular place with people of all ages, thanks to strong drinks served by friendly staff known as Ginboys. Gin and tonics are their speciality, made with a huge range of gins and all enjoyed in a cosy space with a unique and welcoming atmosphere.

The Black Room is a weekly Sunday dance club hosted at Club City Hall, attracting a loud, masculine, and super cruisy crowd. The venue is huge, spread over three floors and including a large dance floor, outdoor terrace, and of course the dark room. People who come to The Black Room are looking to party hard so prepare yourself for loud music, lots of drinks, and attractive go-go dancers.

Salvaje brings a strong Latin flavour to Barcelona's LGBTQ+ club scene, with reggaeton, Latin hits and commercial dance music running well into the early morning. Part of The Moon group, it's a proper late-night disco rather than the more bar-like The Moon Barcelona on Villarroel, so the two shouldn't be confused. The Balmes location is only a few minutes from Believe Club and Pink Corner and a short walk from the main Gaixample bars. It generally comes alive after 2am, attracting a younger mixed LGBTQ+ crowd, plenty of Latino locals and international visitors who want to keep dancing after the surrounding bars begin winding down.

Blunit is a cosier gay bar with a scenic terrace, the ideal place to relax and unwind with friends. This place offers a great value night out, providing drinks at good prices and giving out goodies like free tickets or discounts for other events nearby. Blunit is a perfect start to your night before you move on to other clubs or parties, but there's good music here too so you can just stay and take in the atmosphere.
