The Basement Club is one of the best-known gay cruise and fetish clubs in Barcelona. It's a members only club so you'll have to buy a membership at the door. Once you're inside you can expect a heavy industrial theme and large facilities including cages, private cabins, cinema lounge, showers, and wrestling area. Imperial is a substantial two-level gay and queer fetish club combining music and socialising upstairs with a much more adventurous cruising area below. Across roughly 600 square metres you'll find bars, a dance floor, chill-out areas and an extensive play zone with cabins and other fetish facilities. It's right in Gaixample on Aribau, opposite the Axel Hotel and just along from Gingin, so it slots easily into a night around the surrounding gay bars. Events vary considerably, from general LGBTQ+ parties to leather, underwear and kink-focused nights, attracting gay men and a broader sex-positive queer crowd. Check the night's theme or dress expectations before visiting.

Safari is a loud and colourful place that hosts some of the best parties in Barcelona. DJs and live music fuel late night dancing across two large rooms that are always packed. Safari is an icon of nightlife in the city and something of a benchmark for your clubbing experience here. You can even book out rooms for private parties and make some amazing memories.

La Sastrería packs a lot into a relatively compact Gaixample bar, with drag performances, bingo, DJs and themed nights creating a lively schedule through the week. Drinks and entertainment are the main focus, and the atmosphere tends to become increasingly energetic as the evening moves on. It's in one of the densest parts of Barcelona's gay neighbourhood: HBB is effectively next door, while DMEN'S and Priscilla are just along Consell de Cent and many more bars are within a few blocks. Expect a sociable mix of gay locals and visitors, with drag nights drawing an especially broad LGBTQ+ crowd.

Candy Darling has its roots in queer activism and strives to include all identities. There's something for everyone to enjoy here and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Sit back and watch shows each night, from drag to circus and burlesque. There's also a mini disco room and all sorts of queer art adorning the walls. To go with your drinks, be sure to try a Bikini Darling, the local name for a ham and cheese toastie that's a speciality here.
