One of the newest additions to Copenhagen’s LGBTQ+ scene, Centre Stage CPH has quickly become a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Located in the heart of the city’s historic gay district, the venue offers a friendly atmosphere, regular drag performances, themed parties and live entertainment. The crowd is mixed, welcoming and social, making it a great place to start or end a night out. Expect good music, strong drinks and a lively but approachable vibe throughout the week.

Old school speakeasy type bar, with live music on some days. Cafe Intime is very cosy and friendly, with a broad age range of customers. the Sunday Jazz night is particularly popular, so get a seat early. Can be quite smoky at times.

Jolene is a relaxed bar in the meat packing district of Copenhagen and attracts a mixed crowd. Often has events at weekends and is very gay friendly. It's a popular spot for those seeking independent electronic music, including house, dub, and techno, as well as live rock bands.

Fun disco bar with dance floor and DJ. The main gay night club in Copenhagen that is open regularly. Never Mind can get very busy later on, popular as last stop before heading home in the small hours. Note the change of address in the past few years.

Now Permanently Closed. Trixie is Copenhagen's newest gay bar and nightclub, offering multiple dancefloors and a dedicated cocktail bar. The bar is proving very popular, has a separate smoking section and is located in the heart of the gay district on Studiestrade, so it's easy to slot into your Copenhagen gay bar crawl.

Copenhagen's oldest gay bar, popular with a mixed crowd. Often hosting shows or entertainment, check with the bar. If you're visiting around Easter or Christmas, it's worth a visit to see their impressive decorations. Can get very crowded at the weekends, not a great choice if you're a non-smoker.
