Trixie is Copenhagen's newest gay bar and nightclub, offering multiple dancefloors and a dedicated cocktail bar. The bar is proving very popular, has a separate smoking section and is located in the heart of the gay district on Studiestrade, so it's easy to slot into your Copenhagen gay bar crawl.
Kiss Kiss
Small and friendly bar along the main gay street in Copenhagen. Often one of the last gay bars to close, so check it out if you are partying late.
Jailhouse CPH
Prison-themed basement bar with a friendly vibe and uniformed bar tenders. Can get busy on weekend nights, and check if there are any events.
Copenhagen's oldest gay bar, popular with a mixed crowd. Often hosting shows or entertainment, check with the bar. If you're visiting around Easter or Christmas, it's worth a visit to see their impressive decorations. Can get very crowded at the weekends, not a great choice if you're a non-smoker.
Cafe Intime
Old school speakeasy type bar, with live music on some days. Cafe Intime is very cosy and friendly, with a broad age range of customers. the Sunday Jazz night is particularly popular, so get a seat early.
Oscar Bar Cafe
Large bar with outdoor terrace. Especially popular in summer and with the after work crowd. Oscar is one of the most popular non-smoking venue for gays, lesbians, their friends and family in Copenhagen. Here you can get homemade food, delicious cakes and coffee, cocktails, long drinks and cold beers from the tap.
