One of the most popular gay discos in the south of Gran Canaria, Mantrix is often the last stop of the night, and can be found on the top floor of the Yumbo Centre, next to Mykonos Bar. Run by gays for gays, Mantrix is a place where you will feel safe, meet people and enjoy house music with their resident deejays. There is also a cruising area with a dark room and cabins.

The largest, oldest and possibly the most popular gay bar in the Yumbo Center. With pop disco music, screen projections, a dance area and a cruising area with booths (only for men). In Mykonos you will always receive a friendly and professional treatment. Located on the fourth floor, between the Tubos bar and the Mantrix nightclub, this area is where you will want to head in the early hours to finish your night out. You can find Mardi Gras on the ground floor of the Yumbo centre next door to Fiction bar, near Burger King. Recently refurbished and with a spacious outside terrace, it's a great choice to enjoy your afternoon and evening cocktails with the friendly staff offering a warm welcome.

If you are looking for great British food in Playa del Ingles, then head to the English Bakery Cafe. Hosted by Brits Jae and Steve, you'll find a wide range of home baked items, including scones and a wide range of pies. Plus their fish and chips cannot be beaten! If you just want a drink, then they have plenty of gins to choose from. Now in a new location in Los Arcos Bungalows.

Bar Junior is a GayMapper favourite in the Yumbo Centre, with a very friendly welcome from the two owners, plus delicious gin and tonics. On the ground floor of the Yumbo, in the area known as the Six Pack, opposite Parrots, Bar Junior is one of the smaller bars, but tends to stay busy throughout the evening, and has a perfect location to people watch from their terrace.

You are guaranteed a warm welcome at this very friendly cafe bar, located just steps away from the Yumbo Centre. Managed by three fabulous Italian guys, this is a popular place for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and cake, with some delicious fresh pastries and cakes on offer. Particularly popular with the bear crowd, but frequented by all - it happily proclaims to be straight and pet friendly!
