Pick Up is a small gay bar in Hamburg's St. Georg district, not far from the main station, and close to many other gay bars. You'll find a broad mix of clientele here, and according to Pick Up bar themselves, their guests include "the working class and civil servants, artists and those for whom life is in art form, the unemployed and millionaires - a colorful mixture like life itself and the pride flag." Welcoming to women as well as men, the bar closes when the last guest calls it a night.

WunderBar gets very busy on Saturdays, attracting crowds with a mix of chart pop, R&B and schlager sounds. Cosy, but smoky, and located near the Reeperbahn red-light district, this bar is popular with locals and tourists alike.
