The place may be small but there are plenty of dark corners to retreat into, mature videos on the screens, and stiff drinks at good prices to keep you going into the early hours.

Established in 1971, Spiritus is a family run pizzeria and coffee bar serving delicious thin crust pizza and homemade ice cream. Everyone is welcome to take in this quirky spot for lunch or late night drinks, as the kitchen continues serving pizza by the slice after all the bars have closed. You'll often find the community gathering around Spiritus in the early hours. The Gifford House Inn is home to Purgatory, one of Provincetown's most popular LGBTQ+ dance clubs. In the basement below this charming vintage inn, you'll find a lively party that attracts a cruisey crowd of leather guys and plays great house music late into the night. If you need a break there's also the Porchside Bar hidden just inside the lobby of the inn, where you can enjoy a quieter drink in a lounge-like atmosphere.
