There’s also a fitness centre. The position opposite Robson Square puts shopping, the Vancouver Art Gallery and central Downtown right outside. Davie Village and the city’s principal LGBTQ+ nightlife are around a 10–15 minute walk away, while the waterfront is easily reached in the other direction. Hilton Vancouver Downtown is unusually spacious for a central city hotel, with much of its accommodation arranged as one-bedroom suites rather than conventional single-room layouts. That extra separation is particularly welcome when you’re staying for several nights. For a gay night out, Davie Village is a straightforward walk west, although the main cluster of LGBTQ+ bars is closer to the West End than the hotel itself. Art installations and rotating exhibitions appear throughout the building. Stanley Park, Gastown and the seawall are all particularly accessible from here.
