Popular Bars in Barcelona
La Chapelle
This small space is packed with personality, mainly because you can hardly see the walls for religious artifacts and decorations. La Chapelle is certainly quirky, a place like no other in the city to enjoy cocktails with an equally quirky crowd. Drinks are reasonably priced, so the bar space is always busy, creating a cosy feel inside. Out on the terrace you can get some air and watch the night unfold.
The Moon Tropical
The Moon Tropical offers something a little different to the other bars in the area, with a lively Caribbean theme and barmen who are barely dressed. Great value drink offers draw people in, and they stay for an eye full of the staff and pole dancers. The Moon Tropical is particularly busy at weekends, full of colour and music.
Safari Disco Club
Safari is a loud and colourful place that hosts some of the best parties in Barcelona. DJs and live music fuel late night dancing across two large rooms that are always packed. Safari is an icon of nightlife in the city and something of a benchmark for your clubbing experience here. You can even book out rooms for private parties and make some amazing memories.
Sky Bar by Axel
Barcelona's iconic rooftop gay bar is located above the famous Axel hotel. From this incredible vantage point you can see the best views of the city through day and night. The space is designed to be sophisticated yet laid-back, a romantic place where you can enjoy cold beers and cocktails under the sunset. During summer there's even a heated pool and spaces to sunbathe.
La Casa de la Pradera
This is a bar that welcomes the entire LGBTQ+ community, located in the historic center of the city, and has been serving a super mixed crowd for over 10 years. They offer good food, beer on tap to enjoy outside on the terrace, and a generally relaxed place to hang out with friends. Inclusive and slightly alternative vibes attract a wonderful range of people and give the bar a real community feel.
Boxer CafeBar
This stand-out cafe style bar has a sexy twist. You'll find sporty guys, topless barmen, and people from various fetish communities gathered in the bar or outside on the street terrace. The kitchen here cooks up great food such as cakes and all your favourite bar snacks. Boxer also makes some of the best cocktails around.
