Boyberry Berlin is from the same people that brought you Boyberry in Madrid and Barcelona. Located in Schöneberg, is a men-only cruising bar that combines socializing with playful exploration. Melitta Sundström is one of those old-school Berlin queer institutions that works just as well for coffee and cake as it does for drinks later in the evening. The characterful café-bar has indoor and outdoor seating, a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere and occasional cultural events, attracting a broad mix rather than one narrowly defined gay crowd. You’re right on Mehringdamm in Kreuzberg, with Rauschgold directly across the road and BarbieBar further along the same street, so it’s an easy addition to a queer bar crawl through this part of the city. Expect gay and lesbian regulars, local friends and a generally mixed, unpretentious crowd, especially earlier in the evening.

Small, smoky place with friendly bartenders were you get in touch with other guests quickly. Often popular later in the evening as people move on from other nearby bars to see if they can make some late night connections.

Kumpelnest 3000 in Tiergarten is one of Berlin’s quirkiest queer bars, known for its eccentric décor and anything-goes atmosphere. A small, long-established bar, open 24 hours a day and located near Alexanderplatz. Not the place for large groups as it is very small, but rated for a cosy drink, if you don't mind the smoking and want to see a piece of Berlin gay history.
