A small, long-established bar, open 24 hours a day and located near Alexanderplatz. Not the place for large groups as it is very small, but rated for a cosy drink, if you don't mind the smoking and want to see a piece of Berlin gay history.

Small, smoky place with friendly bartenders were you get in touch with other guests quickly. Often popular later in the evening as people move on from other nearby bars to see if they can make some late night connections.

The owner of the friendly bar, Johann, comes from a little village called Saint Jean, located in Lorraine, eastern France, after which the bar is named. He believed that Berlin seemed just to be the perfect place for his little bar idea with a French touch. Bar Saint Jean is a simple place. Clear lines, not too much details, no chi chi, where people simply go to take a good drink, weekends and during the week.

Great place to get a drink and chill out with friends. Occasionally they offer German schlager music events hosted by drag queens. This bar gets busy on weekends, with crowds spilling into the street, so come early if you want a seat.

SchwuZ in Neukölln is one of Berlin’s biggest and most beloved queer clubs, famous for its colorful parties and inclusive vibe. Housed in a former brewery, it spans multiple dance floors with music ranging from pop and disco to techno and house, so there’s something for everyone. Themed nights, drag performances, and live acts add extra flair, drawing a diverse, international crowd that loves to dance until sunrise. With its friendly, energetic atmosphere, SchwuZ is a must-visit spot for anyone wanting to experience Berlin’s vibrant queer nightlife.

Beautiful and welcoming bar for everyone. Music indoors is not too loud and perfect for conversations and the interior strikes a pose in a retro lounge design. The crowd tends to be youngish in the bar. Great cocktail list and selection of spirits.
