Cafe-Bar Himmelreich

Cafe-Bar Himmelreich

Simon-Dach-Straße 36, 10245 Berlin, Germany

Himmelreich has been flying the queer flag in Friedrichshain for years, combining a relaxed neighbourhood bar with a lively programme of LGBTQ+ events. Inside it’s warm and informal, while the tables outside on Simon-Dach-Straße are particularly popular when Berlin’s weather cooperates. Pride events, Eurovision nights and community gatherings all feature in the mix.

The location fills an important gap between GayMapper’s other Friedrichshain venues. Ashoor is a short walk away on Wühlischstraße, with Grosse Freiheit 114 and Zum Schmutzigen Hobby also easily reached around the wider Friedrichshain nightlife area. Expect a genuinely mixed LGBTQ+ crowd — gay men, lesbians, trans guests, friends and plenty of local regulars.
